Chlo\u00e9\u00a0Quenum\u00a0graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Paris in 2011. She then continued her training at\u00a0Ehess, where she studied the anthropology of writing. Her installations are characterized by the \u201cplay of displacement\u201d and the staging of ordinary objects. Her work is also based on an anthropological and historical approach, focusing on different regions of the world, in particular West Africa and Oceania. She uses multiple materials, borrowing shapes and graphic signs and transposing them onto new supports, thanks to the use of artisanal techniques and processes. Through and in her work, we witness the fusion of cultures, histories, and references, making it possible to question the interpretation and the context surrounding the reading of an object. These variations allow her to explore the modalities of representation and their mutations like an infinite work in progress.
