HEIMAT by Waris Dirie is located in the former Musée Dapper, a historic building dating back to 1855 in the 16th arrondissement, formerly part of the Village de Passy. Known for its African art, we continue the museum’s history by embedding works by contemporary female artists from Africa and the diaspora into the studio’s unique style.
Redefining the fitness lifestyle, HEIMAT by Waris Dirie welcomes those seeking an exclusive fitness experience combined with the ease and comfort of everyday living. You'll find the best machines, with the latest equipment, and be offered a wide selection of numerous classes and workouts. Like no other place before it, this private members club – with it’s focus on proud female fitness – features an impressive environment dedicated to invigorating you in your pursuit of well being at all times.

We present the first place where sport and art participate: we understand fitness as culture and create an inspiring place, which focuses on a high-quality training concept and simultaneously inspires through art, design, music and events. In order to keep the spirit of the historical background of the building, which we want to continue with exhibited art from female artists with roots from Africa and Diaspora. We also want to create a place to connect, learn and feel good through regular events and exciting lectures, where women can build a community.
