Maty Biayenda was born in 1998, studied at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, and is now a well-known French-Congolese artist of postmodern art. In her works she creates small scenes that reflect the artist’s multiple identities, drawing inspiration from Impressionism. She draws her inspiration from the versatility of black beauty and composes her masterpieces in her own home as well as in the studios of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs.
